Here's a recent example, designed to illustrate release from lockdown. Of course, there's a huge range of "looks" you can create this is just one example. Below is the settings selector where you can choose between Auto and Manual. Then you can choose the magnification with some preset options, and also the ability to enter a custom level between 0.2 up to 6.0 times the scale. Regardless of output format, it limits file out size of the up sized file to. First off is Topaz has a bizarre file size limit in pixels of 22K in output. I chose to use the scale since this is a simpler measure. While I believe Topaz has hit a bit of a home run on resizing, slightly better results than On1, Topaz has significant limitations that there tech support has refused to respond to me about. It uses three filters within Effects, two textures and Dynamic Contrast. You can resize by scale, width or height depending on your own editing style. I can also go the other way, using LR as a plugin from within ON1. On installing ON1, its Develop, Effects, Portrait AI and Resize modules are automatically made available in LR, PS and Apple Photos, and presumably the others you mention if they are installed. For quick basic edits, it makes little difference. I tend to use ON1 (from scratch) rather than LR for photos where I want maximum artistic reach, and have been delighted with the results. Lightroom is better on a few basic editing tasks, such as eliminating chromatic aberrations. In many ways it is far more powerful than LR, particularly with layers, presets, LUTs, textures etc. I actually have ON1 Photo Raw, which I use from scratch rather than as a plugin from Lightroom (or other).
